Due COVID-19, the Cornell Food Executive Program (FEP) scheduled from July 12- 17, 2020 was canceled.  We hope that you will apply or transfer your registration and payment to our next scheduled program, July 11-16, 2021.

Who Should Attend?

The Cornell Food Executive Program is designed to develop the skills of current and future leaders in the food and consumer products industries. Participants interact with world-class instructors on a wide variety of retail industry issues that impact the profitability of all types of food industry firms. Attendees learn through group projects and simulations with other executives from leading companies from around the world.

Curriculum

Our five-day program is built around a broad-based curriculum of knowledge and skills required for senior food industry executives. Topics include industry dynamics, personal leadership styles, critical industry issues, retailing trends, shopper markets, and supply chain dynamics. Group projects, case studies, and simulations foster interaction and networking.

Industry Senior Executive Panel

Moderated by Professor and Director Ed McLaughlin, a candid discussion of corporate vision, management philosophies, and critical industry issues with an invited panel of leading food industry senior executives.

Before earning his PhD, Ed worked for the United Nations, the U.S. State Department, and the World Bank. Until recent retirement, Ed taught courses in food marketing and retail strategy for over twenty years, directed Cornell’s undergraduate business program, and served as the Dyson School’s first Dean.

Before Joining the Cornell Faculty, Bill spent 20 years in the food industry with SuperValu. At Cornell, Bill conducts executive programs, both domestic and International. Bill recently retired from teaching food industry operations and marketing.
