Fees

Early Bird Pricing of $460 for the in-person conference and $375 for the on-line program is available until October 1, but each location has capacity limitations. Fees will increase by $85 on October 1, (In-Person $545, on-line $460).

The in-person fee includes two hot lunches and both morning and afternoon breaks. In-person attendees also receive the printed National Income Tax workbook shipped directly to them at no extra charge.

Attendees of the on-line program can purchase the printed workbook shipped directly to them for just $25.

All attendees also have the ability to download a digital copy of the National Income Tax Workbook.

COVID Considerations

We hope that this fall will not bring back COVID restrictions. The hotels are taking every precaution to keep our meeting space both safe and comfortable. To reduce congestion at our in-person meetings the tax workbook will be mailed to the work address you provide during registration. Attendees will turn in individual attendance records 4 times during the program rather than signing in at a registration table.

In the event an uptick in COVID causes a reduction in the hotel’s meeting capacity, we will switch registrations to our on-line program on a last-in, first-out basis and adjust your fee accordingly.

Looking forward to seeing you this year. It’s going to be a great program as Norm Provvidenza, Dario Arezzo and I present the National Income Tax Workbook materials during these two-day conferences.

As our tax programs open for registration, we announce them to our e-mail list. If you have not been receiving e-mails there could be two reasons:

  1. Our messages are going to your Junk or Spam e-mail folder. To be sure that doesn’t happen, go to your e-mail’s Junk e-mail setting and include us in your Trusted Senders list. TaxSchools@cornell.edu or just @cornell.edu to make sure that messages from Michelle (Registrar) and Greg (Director) also get through to you.
  2. Or, you are not on our mailing list. We’d be happy to check, or add you to the list, if you would just send an e-mail to us – taxschools@cornell.edu.

We conduct research and offer educational programs targeted toward tax preparers, consultants, and attorneys who work with and prepare tax returns for individuals, small businesses, and farmers.

The Cornell tax schools have run continuously for over 60 years. Our current schools are taught by small business and farm tax experts.

The programs are for Continuing Education credits by the IRS. Depending on the class there are 2, 8 or up to 16 CPE Credits Available for New York State CPA’s and 15 CPE Credits for Other Tax Return Preparers and Enrolled Agents. (The Fall classes also meets the requirements of the CFP Board.)

The tax school is led by Gregory J. Bouchard, Senior Extension Associate. Greg has many years of tax experience as well as tax school teaching experience.
